How do I volunteer to help with BerkChique?
So glad you asked! BerkChique is run by volunteers and we can use all the help we can get. The tasks include helping preparing the clothes and accessories for sale (sorting, hanging, pricing, steaming, etc.) and helping to staff the event on the weekend of the sale. We are a happy and fun crew – come join us. Just email info@berkchique.com if you would like to volunteer.

HISTORY

BerkChique! was founded in 2012 by Nancy Fitzpatrick as a fun way for regional patrons to clear out and/or update their closets and support of important organizations. For the first 5 years BerkChique! was presented by and in support of Berkshire Creative/1Berkshire.

In addition, BerkChique! has benefited and continues to benefit many other regional non-profits through the donation of clothing and/or funds, including the Berkshire Botanical Garden, CATA, Goodwill Industries of the Berkshires, IS183 Art School of the Berkshires, Shakespeare & Comapny and WAM Theatre.

For it’s sixth year, BerkChique! is presented by and in support of the Berkshire Humane Society and its programs, but will continue its long held tradition of supporting other important area non-profits through the donation of clothing and/or funds.
